Behold, my menagerie of beloved beasts. (I’m not all bad. I have some good traits: I love animals, as you can see.) I keep 6 animals in each cage. It cuts down on cleaning.
Press play to hear the animals inside: they always call out in the same order. Write out the first letters of the names of the animals in any cage to get a 6-letter string. Arrange the 3 cages just right and those strings run together to spell out the name of a song we love. One consonant is missing from the title: that letter will help you eliminate suspects.
I keep things pretty orderly, so you don’t need to re-arrange the animals within any cage, just determine which cage is first, second, and third.
And for you visual people, here’s my vision board showing every animal in my collection, plus some others I don’t have yet but want to. If it isn’t pictured below, it isn’t in my cages. And if your message isn’t making sense, don’t always blame your ears: remember that some animals go by more than one name.
